Paste your board meeting notes. See every motion, and what's missing before the minutes go out.
A motion needs three things on the record: who moved it, who seconded it, and the vote. Motion Tracker reads the ways minutes usually say that:
Moved by Dana Ruiz, Dana Ruiz moved to…, A motion was made by…, It was moved by…, Upon a motion by…, M/S Ruiz/ParkSeconded by Lee Park, Lee Park seconded, Second: Lee ParkVote 4-1-1, 7 ayes, 0 nays, AYES: Ruiz, Park NOES: Shah, roll calls, carried unanimously, All in favorTimes like 7-9 PM and numbers like Resolution 25-26 are not votes. “The board moved on to the next item” is not a motion. A vote that adds up to more people than were present gets flagged. If it can't tell, it says so instead of saying Ready.
Why not just ask a chatbot? A chatbot can sound sure and still invent a seconder. This runs on plain rules: the same notes always give the same answer, it points to the exact motion and what's missing, and nothing you paste is stored or sent anywhere else.
